Hi I went to where that TOM PAINE REPUBLICAN COMPACTOR is located on Friday and made a thorough inspection but no sign of blood or over-stressed brain tissue. Freddy Patel couldn't show he was fagged out after an exhausting week. There's a public toilet smack bang opposite so Uncle Ted could have been in-situ therein.

Yes, the old COMPACTORS can be useful. One of - as you describe him "Egghead's" anecdotes during discussion was that if you search the Chartist era paper THE NORTHERN STAR on-line you can find 400 hits for Painites Drinking Toasts to Tom Paine. However he added that none of 'em had ever read a word of Paine's writings! Wonder how he knew that? Maybe some Regency era Dimbleby look-alike took a vote - "Hands up everyone who has never read a word of Tom Paine? There you are sorted!

Well as a Member of the Thomas Paine Society to whom the lecture was given no prior warning of a very significant change to the agreed lecture topic had been announced, otherwise I should certainly not have gone along.
Hello.....in Brixton prison,September 1971, I bumped into a 'Father Fuck' who was on remand for displaying an obscene placard at the Festival of light demo in Trafalgar square..
I was intrigued,therefore, to come across your reference to the reverend.....same person I'm sure.
Do you have any further info re.the rev? I have forgotten the name of his church although I recollect that it's central beliefs were psychedelics and shagging.

Hi delay in posting you comment have been off line for a few weeks. Will contact you further in due course. Your RFF Brixton meeting location comes as no surprise ... I think the RFF is still with us how much kickinghe is into these days I have no real idea.
